The writers of 'Tonight with John Oliver' namely Kevin Avery, Tim Carvell, Dan Gurewitch, Geoff Haggerty, Jeff Maurer, John Oliver, Scott Sherman, Will Tracy, Jill Twiss, and Juli Weiner won the award for Comedy / Variety (Including Talk) - Series, Deadline.com reported.
HBO's 'True Detective' penned by Nic Pizzolatto grabbed the award for Best Drama Series.
'The Last of Us: Left Behind' written by Neil Druckmann for Sony Computer Entertainment won the award for Videogame Writing.
