Thief returns woman's bike after reading pleading note

A Brighton woman was surprised when she actually got back her stolen bike, after she politely asked the thief to return her trusty cycle in a note.
Eileen Remedios, a nurse by profession, was at her patient's house when someone stole her beloved bike, Metro.co.uk reported.
Hoping to get her bike back, 55-year-old Remedios wrote a note and stuck it to a lamppost near the spot of the theft.
By the next day, the self-proclaimed reformed thief returned her bike with a sincere apology note and keys to a brand new lock.
However, Remedios, who has asserted that the incident has restored her faith in humanity, returned to the lamppost and in an astonishing act of kindness, left a thank you note.
