Apple recently introduced the all-new MacBook Pro with specially designed keys that are better protected against dust and crumb contamination.
During its teardown session, repair firm iFixit found that each key on the MacBook Pro uses a silicone membrane as a shield against dirt, The Verge reported.
While the silicone membrane ensures the keys are guarded against food particles, it also makes the keyboard quieter.
