Tom Hanks may join Meg Ryan in 'Ithaca'

Tom Hanks is in talks to reunite with his 'Sleepless in Seattle' co-star Meg Ryan in the film adaptation of William Saroyan's classic 1943 novel 'The Human Comedy'.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 'Forrest Gump' star may make a cameo appearance in the Word War II coming-of-age saga which marks Ryan's directorial debut.

He is currently involved in the project as executive producer alongside his partner at Playtone, Gary Goetzman.
