Truck drivers attacked by ZRF cadres in Imphal

Suspected cadres of the Zeliangrong Revolutionary Front (ZRF) fired indiscriminately on truckers near Keimei along the national highway in Manipur earlier this week.

The trucks loaded with cement were on their way back from Jiribam to Imphal.

Those injured were admitted to RIMS hospital.

"We are totally against such acts. We are innocent drivers. I think we have not committed any crime. Taking into consideration the people, I appeal the concerned people not to repeat it again," said Jameson, a truck driver.
