Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has claimed that he does not need to explain himself to anyone, after fans demanded more signings on the back of the club's loss to Aston Villa in their first season match.
According to the Mirror, under-pressure Wenger also bit back at Newcastle boss Alan Pardew in their fight over Yohan Cabaye as well as insisting he will get it right in the transfer window.
Wenger is facing a huge test against Fenerbahce in their Champions League qualifier, which could have a huge say on the Gunners' season and is clearly getting fed-up with the levels of criticism from angry supporters, the report said.
The manager said that the club had been very successful with transfers in the last 16 years and the players were top quality ones.
He warned supporters no to think that what is outside was better and told them to rate what they actually had.
