Willis' and Pitt's sci-fi classic '12 Monkeys' set for small screen adaptation

Cult sci-fi flick '12 Monkeys', which starred Hollywood actors Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt, is being turned into a TV show.

Syfy bosses have already given the green light to a pilot, which will be penned down by writers Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett from the 'Terra Nova' fame, Contactmusic reported.

The 1995 film, which was directed by Terry Gilliam and grossed 168 million dollars at the box office, showed Willis as a criminal living underground after the spread of a deadly disease.
