Prince William and Kate Middleton stunned commuters recently when they took a bus to High Street Kensington.
They couple made the trip in support of the Royal British Legion appeal, ahead of Remembrance Sunday, the Daily Star reported.
The couple met several servicemen and volunteers selling poppies, as nearly 2,000 troops, veterans and other supporters were hitting the capital's streets for London Poppy Day, with the aim of raising more than 1 million pounds in 24 hours.
Corporal Steve Johnson said that regular commuters were "ecstatic" to see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
