British star Andy Murray's personal fortune is expected to rise up to 200 million pounds after his Wimbledon victory, bringing the Scot closer to becoming the richest man in British sport.

According to the Daily Express, Murray received 1.6 million pounds for his win yesterday, taking his career prize money total to 20 million pounds, but endorsements and sponsorships would take his personal fortune beyond 32 million pounds.

The report said that the star could expect a 10 million pounds-a-year sponsorship deal with Adidas and renewed contracts with Head, RBS and watchmaker Rado and if the player reached number one, his potential earnings would be as good as Roger Federer.

Meanwhile, Murray will be put behind just Lennox Lewis and David Beckham as one of the top earning British sports stars in history, the report added.

PR guru Max Clifford said that Murray could make up to 100 million pounds in sponsorship deals over the next five years.
