Area Coverage Under Summer Crops stands at 7.16 lakh hectares

As per preliminary reports received from the States, the total area sown under summer crops as on 05th February, 2016 stands at 7.16 lakh hectares.

Summer Rice in 5.91 lakh hectares, summer Pulses is 0.00 lakh hectares and summer oilseeds sown in 1.25 lakh hectares.
