Adani Enterprises, Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company, Adani Power and Nestle India are among the other gainers in the BSE's 'A' group today, 28 August 2017.
Central Bank of India rose 10.03% at Rs 80.65. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 4.37 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 95,000 shares in the past two weeks.
Adani Enterprises rose 9.42% at Rs 119.65. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 13.84 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 5.82 lakh shares in the past two weeks. According to reports, Adani Enterprises plans to begin work in October to build the controversial Carmichael coal project in Australia.
Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company rose 6.95% at Rs 90.80. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 20.97 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6.23 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Adani Power rose 5.95% at Rs 30.25. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 11.52 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 7.74 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Nestle India rose 5.50% at Rs 6,957.30. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 9,326 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 18,000 shares in the past two weeks.
