FMCG shares fall

FMCG stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE FMCG Sector index falling 62.69 points or 0.58% at 10774.53 at 13:53 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE FMCG Sector index, Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd (down 4.92%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd (down 2.77%),Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd (down 2.42%),Dabur India Ltd (down 2.12%),ADF Foods Ltd (down 1.73%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Emami Ltd (down 1.43%), S H Kelkar & Company Ltd (down 1.2%), Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd (down 1.13%), Britannia Industries Ltd (down 1.09%), and Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd (down 1.03%).
On the other hand, Advanced Enzyme Technologies Ltd (up 7.9%), Avanti Feeds Ltd (up 5.12%), and Mcleod Russel India Ltd (up 4.97%) moved up.
At 13:53 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 395.18 or 1.23% at 32509.7.
The Nifty 50 index was up 115.15 points or 1.23% at 9496.05.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 107.26 points or 0.99% at 10969.8.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 39.8 points or 1.04% at 3855.35.
On BSE,1322 shares were trading in green, 882 were trading in red and 168 were unchanged.
