Net outflow of Rs 764.95 crore on 17 May 2018

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 764.95 crore into the secondary equity markets on 17 May 2018, higher than net outflow of Rs 719.94 crore on 16 May 2018.

The net outflow of Rs 764.95 crore into the secondary equity markets on 17 May 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4827.34 crore and gross sales of Rs 5592.29 crore.

There was a net inflow of Rs 352.91 crore from the 'primary market & others' category on 17 May 2018.

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 10207.43 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 17 May 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.

 

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 13837.99 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 17 May 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
