Net outflow of Rs 1729.60 crore on 28 March and 2 April
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 1729.60 crore from the secondary equity markets on 28 March 2018 and 2 April 2018.
The net outflow of Rs 1729.60 crore from the secondary equity markets on 28 March 2018 and 2 April 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 14308.47 crore and gross sales of Rs 16038.07 crore.
There was a net inflow of Rs 1471.48 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 28 March 2018 and 2 April 2018, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 1498.18 crore and gross sales of Rs 26.70 crore.
FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 1782.73 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 2 April 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.
FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 12357.80 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 2 April 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
