HOEC gains after Q4 outcome

Hindustan Oil Exploration Company rose 3.4% to Rs 127.60 at 14:48 IST on BSE after net profit surged 191.55% to Rs 47.96 crore on 193.17% rise in total income to Rs 75.08 crore in Q4 March 2019 over Q4 March 2018.

The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 14 May 2019.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 35.20 points, or 0.09% to 37,353.73

On the BSE, 1.49 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 30,000 shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 132 and a low of Rs 126.60 so far during the day.
