Hong Kong Hang Seng gains for 11th session on row

The Hong Kong stock market finished firmer for 11th straight session on Tuesday, 09 January 2018, aided by bullish sentiment in regional equity markets, inbound money flows from Mainland China and strength in index heavyweight Tencent Holdings. At close of trade, the Hang Seng index was up 111.88 points or 0.36% at 31,011.41. The Hang Seng China Enterprises index rose 0.17% to 12,255.68. Turnover was little changed at HK$133.4 billion, compared to HK$133.8 billion on Monday.
