India Cements reports net loss of Rs 30.56 crore in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 9.29% to Rs 1080.06 crore

Net loss of India Cements reported to Rs 30.56 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against net profit of Rs 26.28 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 9.29% to Rs 1080.06 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1190.64 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 35.85 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against net profit of Rs 163.55 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 3.40% to Rs 4440.88 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 4597.04 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
