Industrials stocks edge higher

Industrials stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE Industrials index increasing 15.88 points or 0.53% at 2992.45 at 09:52 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Industrials index, Navkar Corporation Ltd (up 10.16%), Ircon International Ltd (up 6.55%),SML ISUZU Ltd (up 5.94%),Suzlon Energy Ltd (up 4.29%),Nilkamal Ltd (up 4.05%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Schneider Electric Infrastructure Ltd (up 3.87%), Tata Motors Ltd (up 3.33%), Adani Green Energy Ltd (up 3.28%), Jindal Saw Ltd (up 3.17%), and Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd (up 3.02%).

On the other hand, Reliance Naval & Engineering Ltd (down 4.97%), Simplex Infrastructures Ltd (down 4.92%), and Gayatri Projects Ltd (down 4.92%) turned lower.

 

At 09:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 143.16 or 0.35% at 41602.95.

The Nifty 50 index was up 41.1 points or 0.34% at 12215.75.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 42.32 points or 0.29% at 14784.04.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 8.48 points or 0.17% at 5104.89.

On BSE,930 shares were trading in green, 585 were trading in red and 57 were unchanged.
