Industrials shares slide

Industrials stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Industrials index falling 31.28 points or 1.06% at 2933.32 at 13:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Industrials index, Interglobe Aviation Ltd (down 10.53%), SpiceJet Ltd (down 8.56%),Nila Infrastructures Ltd (down 6.5%),Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd (down 5.44%),Man Infraconstruction Ltd (down 5.41%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Indiabulls Integrated Services Ltd (down 4.93%), Kridhan Infra Ltd (down 4.86%), Sintex Plastics Technology Ltd (down 4.68%), Tata Motors-DVR (down 4.6%), and Simplex Infrastructures Ltd (down 4.49%).

On the other hand, Shankara Building Products Ltd (up 4.99%), Mercator Ltd (up 4.88%), and Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd-DVR (up 4.84%) moved up.

 

At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 197.48 or 0.51% at 38822.91.

The Nifty 50 index was down 63.35 points or 0.55% at 11519.25.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 65.72 points or 0.5% at 13138.59.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 13.47 points or 0.3% at 4497.63.

On BSE,883 shares were trading in green, 1358 were trading in red and 141 were unchanged.
