Industrials stocks fall

Industrials stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Industrials index decreasing 11.61 points or 0.39% at 2992.3 at 13:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Industrials index, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (down 4.78%), Sintex Plastics Technology Ltd (down 4.55%),Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd-DVR (down 4.49%),Tata Motors-DVR (down 4.15%),Adani Green Energy Ltd (down 3.9%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were MMTC Ltd (down 3.56%), Tata Motors Ltd (down 3.26%), Interglobe Aviation Ltd (down 3.13%), Kesoram Industries Ltd (down 3.01%), and Nelcast Ltd (down 2.87%).

On the other hand, Man Infraconstruction Ltd (up 19.91%), Simplex Infrastructures Ltd (up 16.23%), and Shipping Corporation of India Ltd (up 14.7%) turned up.

 

At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 248.72 or 0.63% at 39049.66.

The Nifty 50 index was down 37.6 points or 0.32% at 11624.25.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 45.78 points or 0.35% at 13172.61.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 4.86 points or 0.11% at 4508.46.

On BSE,1241 shares were trading in green, 1137 were trading in red and 197 were unchanged.
