JK Paper jumped 4.63% to Rs 36.15 at 13:14 IST on BSE after the company reported net profit of Rs 18.07 crore in Q4 March 2015 compared with net loss of Rs 14.35 crore in Q4 March 2014.
The Q4 result was announced on Saturday, 16 May 2015.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 125.72 points or 0.46% at 27,449.72.
On BSE, so far 79,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 23,457 shares in past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 37 and a low of Rs 35.50 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 41 on 12 June 2014. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 28.80 on 17 December 2014.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 15 May 2015, sliding 5.86% compared with Sensex's 5.12% fall. The scrip had, however, outperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 4.56% as against Sensex's 6.09% fall.
The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 136.62 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
JK Paper's net sales rose 14.8% to Rs 575.06 crore in Q4 March 2015 over Q4 March 2014.
