Kwality jumps over 17% in five sessions

Kwality rose 3.56% to Rs 98.80 at 15:27 IST on BSE, extending gains for the fifth trading session in a row.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 6.37 points, or 0.02% to 33,850.41.

On the BSE, 10.19 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 5.58 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 101.65 and a low of Rs 96 so far during the day.

The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 169.05 on 20 April 2017. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 81 on 21 February 2018.

 

Shares of Kwality spurted 17.20% in five trading sessions to its current market price of Rs 98.80, from a close of Rs 84.30 on 7 March 2018.

Net profit of Kwality declined 53.56% to Rs 20.94 crore on 12.02% rise in net sales to Rs 1773.27 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.

Kwality manufactures various dairy products, which include low cholesterol ghee, pure ghee pure cow ghee, butter, instant dairy creamer, dairy mix, skimmed/whole milk powder, milk in pouches, curd (regular, probiotic, meethi dahi, low fat, sugar lite, and raita), paneer, lassi, chaach, tetra pack milk, sterilized flavoured milk, yogurt, cheese etc.
