Turnover rises
Nifty April 2014 futures were at 6737, at a premium of 41.95 points over spot closing of 6695.05. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 128282.99 crore from Rs 122331.34 crore on Friday, 4 April 2014.
Ranbaxy Laboratories April 2014 futures were at 445.10, at a premium over spot closing of 443.10.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries April 2014 futures were at 589, at a premium over spot closing of 586.95.
State Bank of India April 2014 futures were at 1936.90, at a premium over spot closing of 1923.10.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty was almost unchanged at 6,695.05.
The April 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 23 April 2014.
