Quick Wrap: Nifty PSU Bank Index declines 3.28%

Nifty PSU Bank index ended down 3.28% at 1205.35 today. The index is down 2.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, State Bank of India slipped 4.72%, Bank of Baroda fell 4.03% and Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd dropped 3.48%. The Nifty PSU Bank index is down 60.00% over last one year compared to the 20.63% decline in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Realty index is down 2.87% and Nifty Bank index has slid 2.39% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has declined 0.95% to close at 9205.6 while the SENSEX is down 0.83% to close at 31453.51 today.
