RBI Announces Underwriting Auction For Sale Of Government Securities For Rs 17,000 Crore

Government of India has announced the sale (issue/re-issue) of Government Stock through auctions to be held on September 13, 2019. These include 7.32% GS 2024 (Rs 5,000 crore), 7.57% GS 2033 (Rs 6,000 crore), 7.69% GS 2043 (Rs 2,000 crore), and 7.72% GS 2049 (Rs 4,000 crore). As per revised scheme of underwriting notified on November 14, 2007, the amounts of Minimum Underwriting Commitment (MUC) and the minimum bidding commitment under Additional Competitive Underwriting (ACU) for the underwriting auction, applicable to each Primary Dealer (PD), are as under:
