Real Estate shares gain
Real Estate stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index rising 11.05 points or 0.45% at 2489.7 at 09:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 1.33%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 0.95%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 0.7%),Godrej Properties Ltd (up 0.47%),Sobha Ltd (up 0.42%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Omaxe Ltd (up 0.35%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 0.24%), DLF Ltd (up 0.21%), and Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 0.05%).
On the other hand, Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 0.58%), moved lower.
At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 7.62 or 0.02% at 41937.75.
The Nifty 50 index was up 1.8 points or 0.01% at 12354.15.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 25.71 points or 0.17% at 14734.41.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 3.09 points or 0.06% at 5044.98.
On BSE,888 shares were trading in green, 702 were trading in red and 82 were unchanged.
