Realty shares witness selling pressure

Fifteen realty shares fell by 0.03% to 7.03% at 14:55 IST on BSE on fresh selling pressure.

Indiabulls Real Estate (down 7.03%), Prestige Estates Projects (down 5.96%), Phoenix Mills (down 5.87%), Anant Raj (down 4.84%), Unitech (down 4.43%), Parsvnath Developers (down 4.04%), Peninsula Land (down 4.01%), DLF (down 3.83%), Mahindra Lifespace Developers (down 3.63%), Housing Development and Infrastructure (HDIL) (down 3.59%), D B Realty (down 1.79%), Sunteck Realty (down 1.75%), Sobha (down 1.17%), Godrej Properties (down 0.66%) and Omaxe (down 0.03%), edged lower.

Oberoi Realty was up 4.76%. Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals announced after market hours on Friday, 22 September 2017, that its board approved sale of 60-acre land in Thane to Oberoi Realty for Rs 555 crore.

 

The S&P BSE Realty index was down 3.06% at 2,008.56. It underperformed the Sensex, which was down 0.99% at 31,606.48.
