Rupee turns weaker

At 61.53/54 per dollar

Indian rupee opened weaker on Wednesday (30 October 2013) at 61.53/54 per dollar, as against its previous close of 61.31/32 on Tuesday, due to appreciation of the US currency against other currencies overseas ahead of Federal Reserve policy decision.
