Shree Cement standalone net profit declines 54.07% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 19.08% to Rs 2380.26 crore

Net profit of Shree Cement declined 54.07% to Rs 304.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 663.03 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 19.08% to Rs 2380.26 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1998.80 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 17.14% to Rs 1339.11 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1143.13 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 52.88% to Rs 8429.16 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 5513.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
