Suzlon's arm Senvion SE has erected the 6.2 M152 Prototype

Largest rotor diameter in the Product Range

Suzlon Energy announced that Senvion, SE, a wholly owned subsidiary of Suzlon has erected the prototype of the Senvion 6.2M152 with the largest rotor diameter in the product range on 03 December 2014.

The project is a first for the Company in two respects: blades of this size have never been developed, buit, transported and assembled, and such a large rotor star has never been pulled and assembled. With a diameter of 152 meters, the swept area is larger than three football pitches.
