Volumes jump at Maharashtra Seamless counter

Bajaj Finance, Timken India, Tata Investment Corporation and Max India are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 4 March 2014.

Maharashtra Seamless clocked volume of 3.45 lakh shares by 13:44 IST on BSE, a 321.6-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock rose 1.15% at Rs 167.20.

Bajaj Finance notched up volume of 1.01 lakh shares, a 43.96-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock lost 0.83% at Rs 1,577.

Timken India saw volume of 4.44 lakh shares, a 18.47-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 24,000 shares. The stock surged 11.8% at Rs 197.10.

 

Tata Investment Corporation clocked volume of 2.84 lakh shares, a 14.45-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 20,000 shares. The stock jumped 9.37% at Rs 462.75.

Max India saw volume of 3.21 lakh shares, a 13.92-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 23,000 shares. The stock rose 0.4% at Rs 190.50.
