23 teams confirm participation in IWF Grand Prix

As many as 23 teams have so far confirmed their participation in the IWF Grand Prix & 2nd Baku International Cup that is expected to swing off here Dec 5-8, National Weightlifting Federation of Azerbaijan announced Wednesday.

The list of participating athletes include weightlifters from China, the US, Israel, Germany, Austria, Azerbaijan, Russia, Italy, Turkey, Ukraine, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, reported Xinhua.

The tournament will be attended by male athletes in 62-69kg and female athletes in 53-58kg weight categories.
