24 militants killed in Afghanistan operation
At least 24 militants were killed in a military operation in Uruzgan province of Afghanistan, police said in a statement on Monday.
Many villages were on Sunday cleared of militants active in the province, Tolo News cited the statement as saying.
No civilian or security personnel was injured in the operation, it said.
The statement did not provide more details about the operation.
