Azarenka withdraws with knee injury

Victoria Azarenka has withdrawn from the Western and Southern Open tennis here due to a knee injury.

The defending champion had been suffering from a right knee injury and she found herself unable to compete after Tuesday's training, reports Xinhua.

Mona Barthel replaced Azarenka in the draw.
