Baghel elected CLP leader, set to be Chhattisgarh CM

State Congress President Bhupesh Baghel was on Sunday elected the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader in the Chhattisgarh Assembly on his way to becoming the Chief Minister.

Baghel was elected by Congress MLAs at a meeting here and a formal announcement would be made by senior Congress leaders shortly, party sources told IANS.
