Bihar Cabinet approves reservation in contract jobs

The Bihar Cabinet on Wednesday approved reservation in contractual appointments made by the state government through outsourcing, an official said.

"The state cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has approved reservation in contract appointments," Principal Secretary, Cabinet, Brajesh Mehrotra, told media after the meeting.

According to him, there will be reservation in appointments of doctors, engineers, teachers and other posts on contractual basis by the state government.
