BJP delegation meets Vice President over attack on Shah

A BJP delegation on Wednesday met Vice M. and demanded that a report should be sought from the government and action taken for attack on its during his roadshow in Kolkata on Tuesday.

The delegation comprising of Union Ministers Prakash Javadekar, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, and member submitted a memorandum to Naidu, who is also of the upper house of parliament.

"The incident that took place yesterday during Amit Shah's roadshow is very serious. He was attacked but survived due to CRPF's presence. Protection of members is responsibility of the house and the Chairman," Javadekar told reporters after the meeting.
