Chinese stocks open mixed on Thursday

Chinese stocks opened mixed on Thursday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.09 percent to open at 4,022.27 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.12 percent higher at 13,432.61, Xinhua news agency reported.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 0.04 percent lower at 2,896.25 points.
