Cop kills self in J&K

A Jammu and Kashmir police personnel shot himself dead on Monday in Badgam district, police said.

Head constable Muhammad Shafi Mir died after shooting himself with his service rifle in the district police lines.

"The exact reason for the this extreme step will be ascertained," a police said as a probe was launched.
