Delhi Metro shuts station due to protest

Commuters faced a difficult time Thursday as a metro station here was closed for over two hours due to a protest.
"Delhi police had advised us to stop the entry of commuters at Jor Bagh station from 7 p.m. onwards. However, passenger exit was allowed," a metro official said. The entry was reopened at 9.30 p.m.
Over 400 people protested near a disputed land in the Lodhi Colony area in south Delhi, demanding the ownership of the land.
