EU condemns terrorist attack in Russia's Chechnya

The European Union here Monday condemned the deadly terrorist bombing that took place Sunday in which at least five police men were killed in Russia's Chechen republic.
The suicide bomb attack occurred on the City Day celebrations in Grozny, which is the republic's capital, Xinhua reported.
"There can be no justification for such an attack against innocent lives. We express our condolences to the families of the victims as well as to Russia's Government and people. We wish a quick recovery to all those injured," the EU statement said.
A suicide bomber detonated explosives attached to his body as the personnel were trying to determine his identity.
At least 12 people were also injured in the attack.
