Finance Minister Jaitley given additional charge of defence
President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday accepted the resignation of Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and assigned additional charge of the ministry to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, on the recommendations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an official statement said.
