Five feet long python creates panic in Agra village

A five feet long rock python created panic among villagers after it slithered through a village street here.
A four member Wild Life SOS team rescued the python from Nagla Vindu village and later released it in its natural habitat.
"With concretisation all around, and the dwindling forest cover, the snakes and pythons have no safe hiding places, and the increasing traffic noise remains a constant irritant," environmentalist Shravan Kumar Singh told IANS.
