Five-kg bomb found in Chhattisgarh, defused

A five-kg explosive packed in a lunchbox and planted under a bridge in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh was found on Monday by security forces, police said.
The improvised bomb was later defused by security forces.
Kanker Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rajkumar Markam said the explosive was planted on the Amabeda-Dhanora road by Maoists as part of their plan to trigger a blast.
