Four held in Kolkata for planning robbery

Four persons who were found moving in a taxi with a fake number plate in the city's Shakespeare Sarani area have been arrested on charges of planning a robbery, police said on Friday.

"The four have been arrested. There will be further investigation into the matter," a police official said.

According to information received here, two knives and a map of the area were seized from them.

"One is from the city while the rest are from Bihar, Mumbai, and Jharkhand. They were planning a robbery in the vicinity," police added.
