Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Thursday mourned the death of former Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
"Deeply pained by the passing away of our beloved Atal ji. India has lost a great leader, a leader of masses and a visionary who dedicated his entire life in service of the nation and its people," tweeted Parrikar, who is currently in the US undergoing treatment for advanced pancreatic cancer.
Vajpayee,93, died at the All India Institue of Medical Sciences, in the national capital on Thursday evening.
