Officials of the Mizoram excise and narcotics department have arrested a Myanmarese national and seized 44 grams of heroin, estimated to be worth about Rs.4 lakh, from him, an official said here Thursday.
"The contraband was seized from two locations in Aizawl city and its outskirts and Thangkhuma, 28, a Myanmarese national, was arrested Wednesday," an official of the state excise and narcotics department said.
Thangkhuma has been booked under sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
