India and Afghanistan reviewed their bilateral relationship during a meeting between External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Afghan Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Abdullah here on Thursday.
"Strengthening strategic partnership with a close neighbour," External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.

India is an important aid donor to war-ravaged Afghanistan.
"India has been partnering with the government and the people of Afghanistan in their efforts to build a stable, peaceful, prosperous, united and pluralistic country," the External Affairs Ministry said in a statement ahead of Abdullah's visit.
