Actress Katie Holmes celebrated her 35th birthday with a group of friends here.

The actress turned a year older Wednesday. She was spotted enjoying a special lunch with her friends at Cafe Gitane, a French-Moroccan eatery here, reports usmagazine.com.

The "Batman Begins" star also took to Twitter to thank her followers for sending her their best wishes.

"Thank you all for my kind birthday wishes - you have made my day!" Holmes tweeted.
