Mick Jagger's hair sold at auction

Rolling Stones musician Mick Jagger's hair was sold for approximately 4,000 pounds at an auction here.

Jagger's hair which was reportedly cut by his former girlfriend, model Chrissie Shrimpton, nearly 50 years back, was found by one of her relatives, reports dailystar.co.uk.

The locks of the rock star were expected to raise between 1,500 to 2,000 pounds, but sold for double that at the Bonhams auction held on Wednesday.

The money will go to the Changing Faces charity, which supports those with facial disfigurements.
